Drum Speaker, Jerry Chapman

Dawn and Joshua met in October 2018, on a hunting trip with friends. Little did they know that almost 5 years later God would place them in ministry together.
Dawn had been doing missionary work throughout the years, when the Lord spoke to her about her own people in her region. She felt that she was suppose to start tent meetings. It was the morning of March 3rd, 2024 when Dawn was spending time with the Lord, and the Lord spoke to her and told her to ask Joshua about tent meetings. She obeyed the Lord and went to Joshua. To her surprise, Joshua had spent much of his youth involved in a tent revival ministry under Dwayne Tartsah. Joshua then proceeded to tell Dawn about a vision he had of her. In the vision, Dawn was in the dark, carrying a torch of fire, and she was walking in between two mountains. That vision quickened Dawn to a verse that the Lord gave to her, Isaiah 9:2, "Those who sit in darkness shall see a great light."
The vision and the verse became the logo of 1st Nations Stronghold Frequency Ministry. The ministry name was given to them by the Lord. Stronghold represents the darkness, and Frequency represents the light penetrating the darkness.
The rest is history in the making.
Zechariah 4:6-7
6 So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.7 “What are you, mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground. Then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of ‘God bless it! God bless it!’”
Our mission is to go out in authority, to bring the light to the darkness, and to set the captives free in the First Nations Villages in Canada.
Mark 16:15-17
15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”
Our vision is to see the fallen altars of worship and prayer in the First Nations Communities be restored.
1 Kings 18: 30-32 & 36-38
30Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come here to me.” They came to him, and he repaired the altar of the Lord, which had been torn down. 31Elijah took twelve stones, one for each of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come, saying, “Your name shall be Israel.” 32With the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord, and he dug a trench around it large enough to hold two seahs a of seed.
36At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. 37Answer me, Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, Lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.”
38Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.

Joshua Many Guns, of the Blackfoot Treaty 7 Tribe, carries a profound mandate of prayer and a deep belief in the Creator for the restoration of First Nations people. His lifelong mission is to see his people rise, reclaim their God-ordained destinies, and walk in restored honor.
With over 25 years of experience organizing large-scale events, tent revivals, and missions across North America, Joshua has dedicated the last six years specifically to ministering to his people in Canada. He serves across generations—reaching out to the homeless, praying alongside elders, and inspiring the youth. Joshua believes that lasting healing and reconciliation are built on a foundation of love and trust. He envisions a future where the rich traditions of First Nations languages, music, and dance are fully restored, empowering his people to share God’s love from within.

Dawn Martinez is of the Nlaka’pamux Nation (Thompson River) of Canada. She has obtained a Bachelor of Religious Education and has a minor in Cross Culture Communications. She has a passion for teaching the next generation, and wants to come along side to help train and equip them. She has a heart for discipleship.
Dawn is an intercessor for her people. She stands in the gap for them through prayer. She is also a missionary in her region. Her mandate is to go out and bring the light to the darkness, and to set the captives free in the First Nations Villages.
Dawn believes it is time to repair the broken altars of the First Nation communities, so the fire of heaven can come down. It is time to prepare for a visitation of the Holy Spirit.

To walk in honor and respect as guests in every village.
1. Entry and Permission:
• Chief and Council: Ensure formal permission has been granted by the Band Office before setting up the tent.
• Land Acknowledgement: Know whose traditional territory you are standing on and acknowledge it during every gathering.
• The Invitation: Remember, we are invited guests. Act with the humility of a servant-leader.
2. Honoring the Elders:
• Priority Seating: Always ensure the most comfortable chairs at the front are reserved for Elders.
• Serving First: When food or drink is provided, Elders are always served first.
• Listening: If an Elder speaks or shares a story, the team stops to listen. Their wisdom is the pillar of the community.
3. Conduct During Gatherings:
• Modesty and Respect: Dress professionally and modestly. Our appearance should reflect the sacredness of the "Frequency" we carry.
• Gifts: Have traditional offerings or small gifts ready if requested or appropriate for the local custom.
• Photography: Never take photos or videos of community members, especially during prayer, without explicit verbal permission.
4. Leaving the Land:
• Cleanliness: Leave the site cleaner than we found it. We respect the land as God’s creation.
• Follow-Up: Ensure a thank-you note or message is sent to the Band Office after the meetings conclude.
5. Spiritual Posture:
• Humility over Authority: We come to serve, not to dictate.
• Waiting on the Spirit: Always wait for the "Next Frequency" of the Holy Spirit before making major decisions in the village.
